How the product works

Create your questionnaire in PaperSurvey.io, generate a scannable PDF, and print it for respondents. Upload scans or photographs of the completed forms, review the recognized answers against the original images, then analyze or export your results. You can also collect web responses to the same questionnaire.

Paper recognition requires forms generated by PaperSurvey.io. Importing questions from an existing document helps you prepare a new questionnaire; it does not make previously completed third-party forms compatible.

Checkbox answers use optical mark recognition. Handwritten answers use AI transcription, with confidence settings and a review workflow. Recognition can make mistakes, including in answers accepted automatically. Our AI disclosure explains the processing and its limitations.
