Customizing single-choice grid questions

Single-choice grid questions can be aligned individually, regardless of your default setting:

  1. Click on any single-choice grid question
  2. In the question properties panel, find the alignment option
  3. Choose your preferred alignment for that specific question

This flexibility allows you to optimize readability for different question types within the same survey.

Understanding alignment options

The alignment setting controls where question text appears on the page:

  • Left alignment - Questions appear on the left side of the page, with answer checkboxes to the right
  • Right alignment - Questions appear on the right side, positioned next to the answer checkboxes

This layout choice affects how respondents scan and complete your survey. Choose based on your design preferences and the visual flow you want to create.
